Candy Kingdom Defense Summoning

Checked

Summons happen at the Treasure Hoard in the Tree Fort. A multi-summon is reported at 360 gems, and the two verified codes already pay 2,500 gems, so the first two pulls fit inside a first session.

Where summons happen

The official game description says heroes are summoned from the Treasure Hoard. Your team holds six slots, and a full team is the first real bottleneck in the game: one strong unit cannot cover a path.

Open the Treasure Hoard from the Tree Fort. The summon screen is the one place where account gems turn into units.

What one multi-summon costs

A multi-summon is reported at 360 gems. Treat that as a secondary figure until your own client shows it.

  • 36% of one 1,000-gem level reward.
  • About 2.4 first clears at 150 gems each.
  • A fraction of the 2,500 gems the two verified codes pay.

Single-summon pricing is not confirmed. If your screen shows a different number, that number wins.

The order that wastes the least

  1. Finish one match. The first clear gives account XP and unlocks the hub systems.
  2. Redeem RELEASE and THANKSFOR200LIKES at the code corner.
  3. Claim the level-5 reward from Finn; level rewards come every five levels and pay 1,000 gems.
  4. Run one multi-summon, then stop and look at what you pulled.
  5. Run a second multi-summon only after you know which job is missing.

The mistake is spending every gem before you can name the gap. Gems buy units, not levels; a second wave-clear unit does not fix a missing boss killer.

How many pulls a new account needs

Six slots usually fill within two multi-summons. Past that point, spend only when a specific job is missing: wave clear, boss damage, control or support.

Duplicates are the other reason to slow down. Whether duplicates convert into anything useful is not documented, so a pull that repeats a unit you already field is not automatically progress.

Clear bag space before you pull

The hoard adds every pull to your item bag, and the default bag is small. A 23 October community record describes two ways players lock themselves mid-pull: the bag fills and the pull cannot resolve, or auto-sell is off and the bag silently fills with fodder.

Before the first multi-summon, open the bag and turn auto-sell on, or buy the 99 Robux capacity pass. The gems are already spent when the bag fills, so this is the one mistake in this page that cannot be undone by waiting.

Evidence level: community wiki record, not a screen we captured. The exact default capacity and the auto-sell thresholds are not published.

What we cannot confirm

The standard Treasure Hoard banner does not publish its rates. The Halloween banner does: Secret 0.10%, Mythic 1.00%, Legendary 18.10%, skin 80.00%, with a Secret guaranteed inside 1,150 summons. The Halloween event page carries those numbers and the candy cost behind them.

  • Whether the standard banner shares the 1,150 counter.
  • Duplicate conversion rules.
  • How often the featured banner rotates.

Creator videos show pulls, not rates. A video with three legendaries in a row is not evidence that the rate is high.

Where the gems come from

Level rewards, first clears, codes and the 2x Gems pass. The gem sources page lists each one with what is still unmeasured, and the codes page shows which rewards were verified in game.

What to do next

Pick the job your team is missing, then check the tier list for the investment order and units for captured values. If a unit needs a Secret, the Lich portal plan explains the odds before you spend.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a pity system for summons?

The Halloween banner states a Secret guarantee within 1,150 summons. The standard Treasure Hoard banner's counter is not documented.

Should I save gems for later banners?

Save only after you can name the job your team is missing. Before that, a full six-slot team is worth more than a future banner.

Does a multi-summon guarantee a rare unit?

Not confirmed. Media coverage describes the pull counts and rewards, not a guaranteed rarity.
