Candy Kingdom Defense Rates and Costs

Checked

Check the number here before you spend gems, candy or Trait Crystals. Each card below carries one rate or price, the date it was read and where it came from: an official post, the Discord FAQ, or a panel captured in game. Where a figure is this site's own calculation, the card says so.

Summons: what a pull costs and what it can be

Standard multi-summon
360 gems
The price reported for the Treasure Hoard multi-summon. The single-pull price is not confirmed, and your own summon screen wins.
Halloween banner single pull
100 candy
The event banner is priced in Halloween Candy, not gems, so both banner prices on this card set are candy.
Halloween banner ten-pull
500 candy
Five pulls' worth of candy for ten cards. Every card still rolls on its own, so a ten-pull can be ten skins.
Banner Secret
0.10%
Grim Reaper. The official post also promises a Secret somewhere inside 1,150 summons.
Banner Mythic
0.5% each
Demon Lady and Blood Demon share this row, so the two of them together are 1.00% of a card.
Banner Legendary
9.05% each
Rock Vampire and Belly Demon share this row, so the two of them together are 18.10% of a card.

The Halloween banner prints its rates and its pity counter. For the standard Treasure Hoard no rate has been recorded in the game or in the Discord FAQ. Everything the banner does not name as a hero resolves as a skin, and a creator's lucky ten-pull is not a rate. The candy prices come from this site's Halloween event page; the Secret rate, the 1,150 counter and the per-hero candy bonus are repeated in the official 23 October post.

Portals, the Lich and Bug Milk

Portal spawn
30% per 10 waves
Rolled every tenth wave in Infinite. One portal averages about 33.3 surviving waves.
Lich drop
5% per cleared portal
Rolled once per completed portal. The Discord FAQ is where this number is published.
Lich Ooze
100% per cleared portal
One Ooze per completed portal, so the material side is deterministic while the unit is not. The Discord FAQ calls the same item Lich Goo.
20 cleared portals
64.2% for a Lich
This site's model: 1 - 0.95^20. It is not a guarantee, and 45 portals reach 90.0%.
Bug Milk
Every 10 waves
Guaranteed since the 23 October patch note, and twice with 2x Drops. The earlier update post said 30%.
Bug Milk on old servers
May still read 30%
The patch note warns that older hub servers can display the old odds while the match pays the guaranteed drop.

Two official posts landed hours apart on 23 October, and they disagree on Bug Milk. The later one, the patch note, is the one the match pays: a guaranteed drop every ten cleared waves. The portal and Lich rates were not part of that change.

Candy: what one raid pays

Candy per wave
25
A 15-wave clear pays 375 before any bonus. This is the number the update post gives.
Each Halloween hero on the team
+20% candy
Counted per hero fielded, not per account.
Each skin worn
+10% candy
Capped at +100% from skins.
2x Drops
+100% candy
It also doubles boss drops and Bug Milk, which is why the pass changes the grind rather than the score.
Boss drop roll
50% each
Waves 6, 12 and 15. Every player rolls their own 50% for a Ferryman's Coin, a Thunder String or a Soul Jar.
Evolving a raid hero
8 items + 5,000 candy
Eight of that hero's boss item plus 5,000 candy per evolution.
Demon Lord
3% per raid win
A Halloween Raid win is the roll. The post gives no pity counter for it.
The Elder Vampire
15,000 candy
Bought at the Teller's Candy Shop instead of pulled from the banner.

In a 23 October capture the first clear paid 750 and the next paid 825 with one skin equipped. That is +10%, not one flat team buff, so read the two lines above as separate multipliers rather than a single candy rate.

Trait rerolls: 11 traits and their odds

A reroll at Castle Lemongrab costs one Trait Crystal and an unpublished amount of Units of Juice, and the 23 October update made the roll instant and allowed two stats to be locked. The odds below come from one captured interface, not from an official rates page or a large sample.

TraitEffectListed chance
Sharp+8% damage18%
Stretchy+8% range18%
Quick+8% attack speed18%
ThriftyPlacement costs 12% less12%
Sugar Rush+14% attack speed12%
Brawny+15% damage10%

Hero of Ooo+30% damage, +15% range, +10% attack speed0.8%
Oh My Glob+200% damage, +20% range, +20% attack speed0.2%

At 0.2%, Oh My Glob averages 500 rerolls, and 500 rerolls still miss about 36.7% of the time. The trait and reroll guide turns those odds into a budget and a stop rule.

What these numbers do not cover

  • No Halloween hero has a captured damage, range or attack-speed panel yet. Their rates are published; their stats are not.
  • The standard banner's rates, and whether it shares the 1,150 counter.
  • Whether a duplicate converts into anything useful.
  • Which unit earns the most match coins. Answers in the community change with the team, and no panel has been read to settle it.
  • The VIP pass odds: the pass says the trait odds improve, the adjusted percentages are not published.
  • When the Halloween event ends, and whether the Teller's Candy Shop closes with it.
  • Console support. The Roblox API returns no device field and no developer statement confirms a port.
  • The rest of the candy-shop stock: only the Elder Vampire price is published.

Where each answer lives

These cards stop at the rate. The decision that follows the rate is on its own page.

  • Summoning: the order to spend gems, and the bag-space trap that eats a pull.
  • Lich portal farming: the run loop behind the 30% and the 5%.
  • Portal planner: model your own batch instead of reading one example.
  • Halloween event: shop prices and how long the 15,000-candy hero takes.
  • Units: which unit does which job, with the captured panel values.
  • Codes: the nine names, and which rewards were checked in a session.
Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a multi-summon cost in Candy Kingdom Defense?

The standard Treasure Hoard multi-summon is reported at 360 gems, which is coverage rather than a screen this site captured, so check your own summon screen. The Halloween banner is priced in candy instead: 100 for a single pull and 500 for a ten-pull.

Is there a pity system for summons?

The Halloween banner states that a Secret is guaranteed inside 1,150 summons. The standard Treasure Hoard banner does not publish rates or a counter, so no pity figure can be given for it.

How many portals do I need for the Lich?

Each cleared portal rolls 5%, and 20 cleared portals give a modelled 64.2% chance. About 45 reach 90.0%. Twenty portals is not a guarantee, and earlier misses do not raise the next roll.

How much candy does one Halloween raid pay?

25 candy per wave, so a 15-wave clear pays 375 before bonuses. Each Halloween hero adds 20%, each skin adds 10% up to 100%, and 2x Drops adds another 100%.

Are these the official rates?

The banner, raid, portal and Bug Milk figures come from the official Discord update post, the patch note and the Discord FAQ. The trait odds come from one captured interface, and the 360-gem price is reported rather than captured, so each card names its own source.
